Summary
The Symposium plans to discuss various situations faced by comprehensive ophthalmologists where they are uncertain about the best course of action. Mistakes in initiating—or failing to initiate—corticosteroids, decisions on whether to administer local or systemic therapy, and choices regarding which investigations or imaging modalities to order (or not to order), are all critical decisions that can significantly affect the final visual outcome. This course aims to present illustrated case examples with clear dos and don’ts, as shared by world experts in uveitis Chairs : Vishali Gupta, Peter McClusky • Patient with Cells in the Anterior Chamber and Keratic Precipitates What next? : Oren Tomkins-Netzer • Patient with Vitritis and Media Haze How should we proceed?: Peter Mcclusky • A Yellow Lesion Involving the Retina What should I do—or avoid doing?: Elisabetta Miserocchi • A Lesion Appears Deeper in the Choroid How do I approach this case? : Vishali Gupta • Approach to Subretinal Lesion : Ilaria Testi
