Summary
Hardik Shroff At times, cases needing cataract surgery, may have many issues which need to be addressed before surgery. They may have history of Laser refractive surgery done, Glaucoma, Corneal Abnormalities, Diabetic Retinopathy, Silicone Oil Filled Eyes etc. These cases may need proper examination and counseling regarding IOL Power Calculation and Selection of IOL which may not match patients’ expectation. Moreover, there may be some intra and post operative issues for which we should make patients understand as there may be slightly poor visual recovery, longer post op. recovery period etc. In this course, apart from Phaco experts, there will be panel of Glaucomologist, Corneal Surgeon, Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon also. Moreover, the entire course will be in panel discussion format (20 Questions rather than just lectures). So that attendees also can interact at any point. 1. Introduction - Hardik Shroff 2.
