Summary
Neuro-ophthalmology Is a Perplexing Field for the General Ophthalmologist. Overlapping Symptoms and Clinical Signs Produce a Diagnostic Dilemma, Compounded by an Overload of Investigations. This Course Describes the Protocols for a Neuro-ophthalmic Exam in Light of Various Clinical Conditions and Provides a Roadmap for Management. Starting from Basic Neuro-ophthalmic Examination, the Course Will Proceed to Cover Specific Topics Such as Examination of a Patient with Disc Edema and Disc Pallor and an Eye Having Vision Loss with a Normal Fundus. It Will Discuss the Position and Role of Various Investigations (Oct, Visual Fields, Electrophysiology, Radio-imaging). the Course Will Be Conducted in a Case-discussion Style with Interactive Sessions Having Ample Audience Participation. the Panel of Renowned Experts Will Help Answer All Audience Queries. at the End of the Course, the Attendees Would Be Able to Examine, Investigate and Diagnose Common Neuro-ophthalmic Disorders.

Trained at a reputed institute for ophthalmology, and fellowship certified. Currently, director of superspecialty eye centre and HOD of reputed multi-speciality hospital. Has over 75+ published manuscripts (national & international) (including 18 original papers and 1 RCT in neuro-ophthalmology), 1 book and 20+ chapters; Chief guide and co-guide of thesis and projects. Has been an instructor in 30+IC’s in AIOC. Invited faculty in 60+ national and international conferences. Co-author of IJO platinum awarded paper on neuro-ophthalmology. Currently an active and founder member of INOS
