Certain Congenital and Acquired Motility Disorders Pose Formidable Diagnostic and Therapeutic Challenges. Such Conditions May Include Congenital Cranial Dysinnervation Disorders as Well as Acquired Motility Disorders Like Thyroid Eye Disease, Blow Out Fractures, Myasthenia Gravis to Name a Few. Riding Piggy Back Are Supranuclear Disorders Like Skew Deviations That May Rub Shoulders with Entities Like Superior Oblique Palsies and Congeal the Presentations and Management. It Is of Utmost Import to Carry Out Appropriate Work up Like Evaluation of Fundus Torsion, Imaging, Muscle Function Tests. Surgical Approach , Surgical Techniques Outcomes and Prognosis May Not Be as Rewarding. This Ic Will Address Diagnostic and Surgical Challenges of Host of Such Entities, Most Appropriate Surgical Approach, Alternative Surgical Procedures and the Outcomes.. the Ic Will Be Interactive and Will Help Attendees Diagnose and Treat Such Complex Motility Disorders with Ease.

The chief instructor has extensive experience of over 40 years in strabismus, ocular motility disorders and neuro- ophthalmology. He has worked as a senior faculty member at a leading institution in north India. He has extensive teaching, clinical and research experience and trained many postgraduate students in strabismus and ocular motility disorders. He has over 50 indexed publications to his credit in the sub speciality of strabismus and Neuro ophthalmology. He has won AIOS best FP award in Neuro-ophthalmology. He is a senior office bearer in the Strabismological Society of India.
