This Instruction Course Outlines Practical and Implementable Strategies to Enhance Emergency Preparedness in Eye Hospitals and Clinics. It Covers the Development of Standard Operating Protocols (Sops), Infrastructure Requirements, Team-based Simulation Training, and Periodic Audits, with Reference to Nabh and National Guidelines. Real-world Video Scenarios and Case Studies Will Illustrate Key Response Mechanisms for Common Emergencies— Anaphylaxis , Syncope and Code Blue Situations. attendees Will Gain a Structured Approach to Readiness, Response, and Recovery—helping Reduce Medico-legal Risks, Improve Patient Safety, and Empower Ophthalmic Teams to Respond Right.

The chief instructor is a consultant, comprehensive ophthalmologist at tertiary care eye hospital based in Chennai. He is also the NABH Coordinator of the hospital and works closely with principal assessor in conducting several online and offline training programs for small and medium sized hospitals across the country. The chief instructor has also completed his PG diploma in Medical Law and Ethics which facilitates the process of handling emergencies and medicolegal aspects of such crisis situations.
