Glaucoma, the Leading Cause of Irreversible Blindness, Requires Timely Diagnosis and Monitoring. Despite Advancements, Diagnosing Glaucoma Remains Complex. However, Recent Innovations Offer Exciting Opportunities to Enhance Diagnostic Accuracy and Help Clinicians Assess Glaucoma Progression and Risk More Effectively. This Course Is a Gateway to Understanding the Groundbreaking Developments in Glaucoma Diagnostics. We Will Explore Cutting-edge Technologies, Including Home-based Iop Measurement, Novel Visual Field Platforms, Oct and Octa-based Analysis, Erg, Ai Applications, and Genetic Testing. That Said, Integrating New Methods May Require Changes in Clinic Workflows, and Challenges Such as Equipment Portability, Standardisation, Reproducibility, and Costs Must Be Addressed. by the End of This Course, Attendees Will Gain a Better Understanding of Recent Diagnostic Modalities in Glaucoma, How to Apply Them in Clinical Practice, and Whether They Merit the Excitement Seen in Literature.
