Dead Bag Syndrome(dbs) Refers to a Pathological State of the Capsular Bag in Which the Bag Loses Its Elasticity and May Become Diaphanous and Floppy, Despite an Uneventful Initial Surgery. These Changes Can Lead to Delayed Iol Decentration, Loss of Effective Lens Position, Visual Disturbances, and Even Iol Dislocation. this Instruction Course Delves Into the Etiopathogenesis of Dbs, Highlights Imaging and Slit-lamp Signs for Early Diagnosis, and Presents Surgical Techniques for Management. Emphasis Will Be Placed on Intraoperative Measures to Prevent Dbs, Particularly in High-risk Eyes or with Premium Iols. learning Objectives: • to Understand the Pathophysiology and Risk Factors for Dead Bag Syndrome. • identify Early Clinical and Imaging Signs Suggestive of Dbs. • explore Preventive Techniques During Cataract Surgery • learn Surgical Options for Management • analyze Real-world Case Scenarios
