Summary
Vitreoretinal Surgery Has Advanced Far in the Last Decade, Coming to a Modern Era of Instrumentation and Better Approaches from the Retinal Surgeon, Making the Procedure Easier to Perform, Thus Contributing to a Better Recovery from the Disease. This Course Aims to Provide a Comprehensive Overview of Challenging Retinal Surgeries. It Will Consist of Video Presentations Followed by a Panel Discussion. the Video Presentations Will Cover the Latest Techniques and Technologies Used in Challenging Retinal Surgeries. the Panel Discussion Will Provide an Opportunity for Participants to Ask Questions and Engage in a Dialogue with Experts in the Field. the Course Will Also Cover the Management of Complications That May Arise During Challenging Retinal Surgeries. by the End of the Course, Participants Will Have Gained a Deeper Understanding of Challenging Retinal Surgeries and the Latest Advancements in the Field.

After his Retina Fellowship in India he furthered his skills by visiting renowned European and American vitreo-retina surgeons. During the past 29 years he has performed hundreds of complicated VR surgeries through which he has acquired a stature which prompted other famous phaco surgeons of other states to start collaboration projects with him in the field of Retina. He started retina departments in far off places like Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Ambala, Bareilly, Srinagar, Pathankot, Amritsar, Siliguri, and Delhi NCR. He has acquired expertise in handling highly complicated vitreoretinal surgeries
