Title
Expolring Corneal Biomechanism in Glaucoma Management
Summary
Corneal Biomechanics Has Emerged as a Crucial Indicator of the Influence of Corneal Structure and Physiology on the Diagnosis and Management of Keratoconus, Glaucoma, and Refractive Laser Vision Correction Surgeries. the Role of Corneal Biomechanism, Such as Hysteresis and Corneal Resistance Factor, Especially in Glaucoma Management, Deserves Due Attention. the Proposed Instruction Course Is Intended to Highlight Anatomical, Functional, and Generalised Factors Linked with the Corneal Biomechanism in Cases of Glaucoma. the Factors Influencing Corneal Biomechanism, Such as Age, Systemic Diseases, Environmental Factors, as Well as the Impact of Post-refractive and Post-lasik Status, Directly Affect the Corneal Mechanism, and Its Subsequent Effect on Glaucoma Management Will Also Be Highlighted. the Role of Investigative Tools, Such as the Ocular Response Analyser (Corvis) and Non-destructive, Contactless Techniques, Will Also Be Discussed.
Resume
The Chief Instructor is known as an academician, medical teacher, researcher, skill transfer resource person, and innovator over the past four decades. He has dominated the sphere in the domain of Cataract, Glaucoma, and Keratorefractive procedures. He has extensive experience in handling complex cases of refractive Glaucoma, as well as innovating various surgical techniques to manage such cases. He has conducted Instruction courses and live surgeries in national, regional, and international conferences. He has authored multiple chapters and imparted post-doctoral training.
