Summary
Corneal Opacity and Corneal Decompensation in Non Seeing Eyes, Is a Common Cause of Cosmetic Concern Amongst Several Young and Elderly Adults. Keratopigmentation Procedure to Enhance Cosmesis, in Disfigured Corneas Has Been Known for Long. However, in the Past Few Years, Several New Techniques Have Been Introduced to Improve the Outcomes. We Believe, That Keratopigmentation Procedure Has a Significant Role in Improving the Cosmesis and Self Confidence in Patients, Not Keen on Using Prosthetic Contact Lenses. It Also Has a Functional Role in Reducing Glare in Case of Large Iris Defects. the Instruction Course Aims to Discuss the Patient Selection Criteria, Various Surgical Techniques and Dyes Used, and Management of Complications of Keratopigmentation Procedure

The Chief Instructor is a dual fellowship trained cornea surgeon, practicing for several years. She is active at the state and national academic meetings participating in presentations, instruction courses, skill transfer courses. She has several publications to her credit. Her areas of interest include keratoconus, keratopigmentation and ocular surface disorders.
