Title:
Difficult lenticule extraction in Silk- due to different reasons make lenticule extraction tougher
Abstract Body:
Difficult lenticule extraction in few cases mostly are due to adhesions between the lenticule and the overlying corneal cap for the anterior part and with stroma for Posterior dissection can make dissection and extraction challenging and potentially lead to tears and hazy cornea -Identifying the anterior and posterior part of the lenticule especially in thin lenticule is another important factor for the smooth dissection of lenticule It has been noticed in few cases that sometime due to wrong identification of the lenticular planes we dissect in same plane again and again making the things worse and poor visual outcomes next day Formation of an opaque bubble layer during the procedure can obscure the lenticule and make it difficult to visualize and extract Due to inadequate femtosecond laser fire (may be due to peripheral corneal degenerations, limbal keratitis in prolonged contact lens users etc) on wound entry make the things difficult to identify the exact plane of dissection
