Summary
Gaurav Gupta Neovascular Glaucoma (NVG) is not an uncommon problem occuring in many patients with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus and hypertension, secondary to Diabetic retinopathy and central retinal ven occlusions, respectively. Majority cases present at advanced stage and these cases keeps on roaming between retina and glaucoma specialist for medical management leading to suboptimal outcomes. These cases requires aggresive management by both retina and glaucoma specialist for better outcomes. This course will outline the pathogenesis of NVG, various management protocols for treatment of NVG by both retina and glaucoma specialist as a team. In addition, in this retina and glaucoma specialist will discuss in detail various medical and surgical options assisted with videos, from retina and glaucoma perspectives, for early treatment and better visual outcomes in this disease.
