Cataract Is the Most Common Surgery in Ophthalmology, It Very Difficult to Master It. Doing Cataract Surgery Without Complications Is Next to Impossible. hence, Every Surgeon Should Be Aware of All the Possible Complications in Every Step and Should Be Capable of Managing It with Thorough Knowledge and Skills. this Course Will Help the Surgeons to Be Ready to Manage the Most Common Complications Occurring During, Construction of Wound, Capsulotomomy, Managing the Nucleus, Cortex Removal and Placing the Intraocular Lens. this Course Will Specifically Focus on Management of Posterior Capsular Rent. the Complications Due to Pcr Like Nucleus Drop, Cortex Aspiration After Pcr, Wound Management After Vitreous Disturbance Will Be Dealt With. how to Hand Over the Case to Vr Surgeon in Case of Nucleus or Iol Drop ( Do's & Don'ts) so That It Will Be Easier for Them to Tackle Also Will Be Dealt with in This Session.

The chief instructor is Professor and HOD in a renowned government institution in Tamil Nadu. She's has more than 20 years of UG teaching and nearly 13 years of PG teaching experience. Heads the Retina unit and is the district nodal officer for ROP. She is the District program manager for District Blindness control society. She has the experience of tackling cases referred from nearby districts for post cataract surgery complications mainly nucleus drop, IOL drop, post op endophthalmitis. She is also the co ordinator of Ophthalmic screening for NCD patients and of school eye screening
