Strabismus Management Has Evolved Significantly, with Surgical Techniques Now Extending Beyond Conventional Recession–resection Procedures. Advanced Strabismus Surgery Involves a Spectrum of Nuanced Approaches for Challenging Deviations, Reoperations, and Complex Anatomical Scenarios. the Course Will Focus on Surgical Decision-making, Advanced Techniques Like Adjustable Sutures, Posterior Fixation Sutures (Faden), Muscle Transpositions (Including Vertical Rectus Transposition), Augmented Surgeries, and Innovative Approaches for Addressing Incomitant Deviations. Emphasis Will Also Be Placed on Preoperative Planning, Intraoperative Adjustments, and the Role of Imaging Etc in Surgical Planning. participants Will Benefit from Step-by-step Surgical Videos, Interactive Case Discussions, and Expert Tips for Avoiding Common Pitfalls. This Course Is Designed for Ophthalmologists Already Performing Strabismus Surgeries Who Wish to Expand Their Capabilities in Managing Challenging Cases.

The Chief Instructor is a Board Certified Pediatric Ophthalmologist and Squint specialist with 25 years of experience. He has presented 200 plus scientific papers and posters at various conferences. He has held posts like Scientific Committee Chairman of State society, Editor of Indian Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, reviewers of IJO, BJO, Graefes etc. He has to his credit 70 peer reviewed articles and has written two books and 10 chapters. He is the author of book advanced strabismus surgery.
