This Instructional Course Will Address Essential Aspects of Diagnosing and Effectively Managing Retinoblastoma (Rb), and Is Aimed at Benefiting Practitioners Who Manage Rb. It Will Start by Exploring Common Pitfalls and Emphasizing How to Avoid Them in Clinical Practice. the Course Will Cover the Role of B-scan Ultrasonography and Other Adjunctive Modalities, Such as Ultrasound Biomicroscopy, Optical Coherence Tomography, and Magnetic Resonance, for Diagnosing and Monitoring Rb. One Session Will Focus on Selecting the Most Appropriate Chemotherapy Regimens Tailored to Individual Patient Needs. the Role of Radiotherapy Will Be Discussed, Including Its Indications, Techniques, and Outcomes. Additionally, the Course Will Shed Light on the Critical Role of Pathology in Staging Rb. Finally, It Will Introduce New Advancements, Evolving Considerations, and Emerging Treatments, Keeping Participants Abreast of the Latest Strategies for Managing Rb.

The chief instructor is an internationally recognized ocular oncologist with an illustrious career spanning over 10 years in the field of ophthalmic oncology. She has made extensive contributions to academics and research in ocular oncology. Her research interests include retinoblastoma, ocular surface squamous neoplasia, and sebaceous gland carcinoma. To her credit, she has over 300 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has delivered over 250 conference lectures, including three keynote addresses. She has also been honored with 17 national and international awards.
