Toric Iols Now Have Become the Need of Both Basic and Advanced Cataract Surgery. in This Ic, We Will Focus on Toric Iol Placement in Certain Atypical Situations Where Often the Surgeon Chooses to Abandon the Original Plan of Placing a Toric Iols. Apart from That, We Will Also Deep Dive Into the Effect of Uncorrected Corneal Astigmatism Despite Doing Everything Right, Including, at Times a Toric Iol Placement and Aligning It Perfectly. Pre Operatively Encountered Surgical Challenges, Intra Operative Undesirable Episodes and Post Operative Surprises, All Will Be Covered in the Various Topics Covered by Eminent Surgeons Who Routinely Implant Toric Iols in Their Practice.

He passes MS(Ophthal) in 2003 and then went on to do two long term fellowships in IOL and Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. He has 20 years of experience in practising highly technology driven practice. His keen interest in understanding machines and their functioning has enabled him to receive various guest faculty invites from various National and International societies. His area of interest primarily is Cataract, Paediatric Opthalmology and Strabismus and he has performed 97 live surgeries in different forums thus far, which includes SAARC country.
