Summary
Community Ophthalmology in India Plays a Critical Role in the Elimination of Avoidable Blindness by Reaching Underserved Populations Through Outreach Camps, Satellite Centers and Operating Rooms Catering Hundreds of Patients Every Day. these High-volume Services Demand Consistent Infection Control and Quality Assurance Especially in Preventing Vision-threatening Complications Like Postoperative Endophthalmitis and Surgical Site Infections (Ssis). this Instruction Course Addresses a Pressing Need to Bridge National Accreditation Standards—such as Nabh and Npcb Guidelines—with Ground-level Realities of Community Ophthalmology. the Course Brings Together a Multidisciplinary Panel of Six Experts, Each with Practical Experience in Delivering Safe, High-quality Care in Outreach Settings. Participants Will Explore Scalable Infection Control Strategies, Pre- and Post-operative Workflows, Surveillance Models, and Compliance Documentation.

The Chief instructor has more than a decade of experience working with high volume community hospital alongwith speciality practice. He has been a part of the quality processes within the organisation and attended multiple NABH audits as well as internal medical audits. He has been an integral part of designing multiple quality processes within the organisation especially with respect to infection control practices. He holds an administrative position; giving him a unique perspective regarding the entire spectrum of community ophthalmology all the way from ground up until the clinical end.
