Pediatric Cataract Is a Major Cause of Blindness in Children. It Can Have a Severe Impact on the Individual, Family and Society If Left Untreated. Pediatric Cataract Management Is a Complex and Continuous Process. It Requires Early Diagnosis, Timely and Appropriate Surgery, Effective Rehabilitation, Parental Motivation, Regular Follow Up, Complication Detection and Management, and Multidisciplinary Collaboration of Ophthalmologist, Optometrists, and Parents. by Attending This Instruction Course, the Participants Will Be Able to Enhance Their Knowledge and Skills in Pediatric Cataract Management. They Will Learn About the Latest Developments and Best Practices in the Field, and How to Apply Them in Their Own Clinical Settings. They Will Also Have the Opportunity to Interact with Experts and Peers and Share Their Experiences and Challenges. This Instruction Course Will Ultimately Contribute to the Prevention and Treatment of Childhood Blindness.

Experienced pediatric ophthalmologist with several years of focused work and publications in pediatric cataract management. My mentor and team has contributed to Pediatric IOL power guidelines, published extensively on pediatric cataracts and IOL power calculation as well as amblyopia therapy. My mentor has regularly mentored postgraduate trainees. Our team is recognized for innovative surgical techniques and commitment to improving childhood blindness outcomes through education and clinical excellence. Our USP is advancements in Pediatric Cataract imaging with UBM and iOCT.
