With the Widespread Availability of Anti-vegf Agents and Easy Access to Intravitreal Injections, More and More Comprehensive Ophthalmologists Are Independently Treating Diabetic Macular Edema. However, Key Questions About Diagnosis, Timing, Alternatives, and Long-term Management Often Remain Unasked and Unanswered. This Instruction Course Is Designed as a Panel-based, Case-driven Discussion Rather Than a Lecture Series, Focusing on Real-world Dme Scenarios. the Panel Will Tackle Practical but Under-discussed Dilemmas—when Not to Inject, How to Select Patients for Laser, How to Optimise Steroid Use, and What Investigations Are Essential. Audience Participation Will Be Encouraged to Create an Engaging, Thought-provoking Session That Will Clarify What Every Comprehensive Ophthalmologist Must Know Before Reaching for the Injection.
