Magic of ACM : Fiber or Pearl : Safe yet Complete removal.
Abstract Body:
Complete and safe removal of cortical / epinucleus remnants from the capsular bag is essential in all cataract surgeries. It prevents postoperative inflammation, acute IOP spikes, and later‑on posterior capsular opacification. Using an Anterior Chamber Maintainer (ACM), the fibers are thoroughly evacuated with a 2 ml syringe (without plunger/piston) fitted with a 24‑gauge cannula — a technique that accomplishes this task very effectively.
