PLUGGING CORNEAL HOLE BY NEIGHBOURING CONNECTIVE TISSUE
Abstract Body:
This video aims to highlight another easy yet effective way of maintaining structural integrity of perforated cornea at a time when donor cornea is not readily available. A 54 year old male presented with a centrally perforated cornea with stroll thinning and necrosis . The patient was managed conservatively at first using cyanoacrylate glue but the condition deteriorated . No donor corneas were available so o maintain the structural integrity the patient was planned for emergency tenon patch graft to promote wound healing and maintain the integrity till donor tissues are available.
