Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon’s Nightmares!
Summary
In this symposium, we will discuss some of the gravest complications which may occur during vitreo-retinal surgery. These complications can lead to poor visual outcome, and give nightmares to the surgeon. Detailed lectures will be presented, discussing a step-by-step approach to detect and manage such complications. At the end of the session, the audience will learn, to detect many vision threatening complications at the earliest, and also how to act swiftly to manage them successfully. Appropriate and timely intervention, may salvage vision in most of the eyes. The course will be especially beneficial for young retinal surgeons, who are in the early phase of their career. They will become more confident in dealing with such situations.

I have 15 years of experience in Retina. Earlier, I did my residency and fellowship from the most prestigious institute of India. I worked as a faculty in a medical college. I also worked as a fellow in Switzerland.
