Summary
Cataract surgery today has become a refractive procedure with patients expectingemmetropia and freedom from glasses. The success of cataract surgery is measured by itsrefractive outcome which is one of the main indicators for patient's satisfaction. Thiscourse which has very experienced instructors will touch upon all the available biometrydevices, newer generation formulae, role of intra-operative abberometry, accuracy fortoric IOL implantation and special situations like post refractive cataract surgery. Management of refractive surprises after cataract surgery will also be covered. This course will help both the beginning cataract surgeon and the advanced specialist to obtain better results after cataract surgery.

Practicing Ophthalmology for the past 28 years and have performed over 1.5 lakh cataractand refractive surgeries. Actively involved in academics and have over 50 publications inpeer reviewed international journals. We also run a postgraduate residency course for ophthalmology(DNB) and post doctor fellowship programmes accredited by Rajiv Gandhi Health University apart from degree courses in Optometry. Trained over 200 short term fellows and over 100 long term fellows in Phaco and Refractive surgeries.
