Summary
Comprehensive ophthalmology includes the clinical and pathological understanding of diseases in a systematic way. Clinco-pathological aspects help us to know in details which include imaging advancement, real time integration of the investigating tools to abreast the ocular pathology with complete cytological, histopathological and molecular pathological diagnosis. Various dystrophic changes in cornea, infectious disease like ocular tuberculosis, primary vitreo-retinal lymphoma, nuances in retinoblastoma, newer diseases like IgG 4 related diseases will be dealt in this case based instruction course. It will be beneficial for ophthalmology post graduates, fellows, ophthalmic pathologists and experts in the field of cornea, oculoplasty, ocular inflammation and oncology-pathology to get updated from the course in the best of the way.

Chief instructor is fellowship trained in India and abroad (USA) in ocular pathology, intraocular inflammation and uveitis and practicing in a tertiary Institute of north east India for 22 years. He had described a new rosette in retinoblastoma, innovated numerous pathological concepts/device (patent filled)/pathologies including discovery of a stain in pathology/microbiology. His research includes retinoblastoma and other ocular tumors with extensive nuances in microscopic imaging. He has over 176 peer reviewed publications and active members of ISOO, IUSG, IOIS etc
