Summary
We intend to present a course where emphasis will be given to step by step training with the help of Video demonstration . We have included almost all types of Ptosis surgeries like Fasnella Servat Surgery, MMCR, Levator Resection, Silicon Sling & Frontalis Flap. Our all presenters have extensive teaching experience & are highly trained in the subject . We aim to create an actual Training module in our course , where every step of these surgical procedures will be video demonstrated & explained in a manner that all attendee can absorb them their clinical practice. Last 2 slides of each presentation will be encompassing Pearls & Perils for the surgery described . Our primary emphasis will be on Video based skill transfer of various surgical options for this common entity ‘Ptosis’. We have also kept 4 minutes of discussion after each talk to clear all possible doubts & for interactive audience participation.

Chief instructor has been trained in oculoplastics at one of the premier Institute of our country . He has over 25 years of oculoplastics experience & was heading Oculoplastics & Orbit clinic in a tertiary level Medical college for more than 15 years. He has a vast teaching experience of more than 18 years & is well versed with the difficulty of beginners. He has extensive surgical experience and has performed live surgeries in many national forums. He has 28 publications , more than 500 presentations in various national & 22 presentations in international conferences.
