Summary
Cataract is most common diseases in eye and many people presents for the first time with cataract coexisting with other ocular diseases for which they were not aware about himself , in such situation physician often found themselves in dilemma as to how to proceed further for the best possible visual outcome. Like cataract associated with glaucoma , Diabetic macular oedema , Macular hole , Pterygium , optic nerve diseases and amblyopia . These are the conditions where there is no clear cut guideline available in literature how to manage these condition. In this instruction course author tried to established some guidelines for the management of these co existing condition .

Author is a post graduate from very prestigeous institute of India having 28 years experience in ophthalmology. Worked as senior resident , assistant professor and associate professor in eye institute for almost 10 years than in private practice since last 18 years . Well versed in state of art phacoemulsification surgery and refractive surgery along with comprehensive eye care . Has gone through WHO fellowship in Vitreo retina and medical retina .
