Title
Non invasive biomarkers in retinal disorders
Summary
Optical coherence tomography (OCT), OCT A, FAF are non-invasive, easily accessible imaging technique that enables diagnosing several retinal diseases at various stages of development. This instruction course discusses early findings as non-invasive imaging biomarkers for predicting the future development of selected retinal diseases, with emphasis on age-related macular degeneration dry and exudative, pachy choroid, diabetic retinopathy, Retinal vein occlusion & macular telangiectasia, CSCR, drug-induced maculopathies, hereditary macular disorders. By being able to predict the development of many conditions and start treatment at the earliest stage, we may thus achieve better treatment outcomes.
