Photography and videography play a crucial role in the field of ophthalmology for a variety of reasons. These visual media are valuable tools that aid in diagnosis, documentation, education, research, and patient communication. They are not only essential for documenting the progress of eye diseases and treatment outcomes but also benefit medical students, residents, and ophthalmologists. In this course we will be covering on ways to set up imaging for Slit Lamp and Microscope. Course will also cover finer aspect of capturing perfect photographs and videos. Along with this fundus photography and Ultra Wide Field imaging of the retina will also be discussed. We are all aware that video editing is a vital component in the creation of high-quality, engaging, and effective video content. In this course we will be discussing about various ways to edit videos and make an effective film. This course is meant for all those who want to learn about Ophthalmic Photography and Videography.

The lead instructor is active member of AIOS for over 25 years. Over this span, he has held the role of Chief Instructor and Co-Instructor for numerous ICs. He has have been an invited faculty at various state, national, and international conferences. The instructor has showcased his surgical expertise through the live demonstration of numerous surgeries and has been consistently recognized for his exceptional video presentations at state conferences, earning multiple awards. He has been honored with a Gold Medal for the best free paper by the state society.
